Many of our clients are pleased to learn that we do custom work at Anne Sportun Fine Jewellery. Here are some frequently asked questions about the custom design process:

What does “custom design” mean?

It means that  you and a member of our team work together to ensure that you have all the design features you desire in your custom piece; features such as width of band, texture and style of setting.

Here are some examples:

Texture: Matte, High Polish, Hammered, Bark or Stardust:

Setting: Bezel, Prong or Claw, Double Claw, Channel, Pave or Flush:

Width of Band:  If it’s a ring you are having made, choose the width that best suits your tastes and finger.

What is the benefit of creating a custom piece?

A custom piece is uniquely your own, styled with all the signature Anne Sportun design aesthetics you love along with your own distinctive personality. Perhaps you have an heirloom stone you wish to have remounted in one of our existing mounts – by working together with us, you can customize it to your liking.

Is there anything I can’t do?

We can accommodate most requests, as long as they fall within the Anne Sportun design aesthetic. For inquiries regarding restrictions on custom work please contact customer service on customerservice@annesportun.com.

What is the ‘Anne Sportun design aesthetic’, and how would I work within those boundaries to create a custom piece?

The Anne Sportun design aesthetic refers to the designs, patterns, textures, shapes, and styles that already exist in our collections.

Is there an added cost to having something custom made?

Custom work often requires more labour as we hand make your bespoke piece. We prepare a quote for your approval along with a 50% deposit to commence work. All custom pieces are entirely non-refundable.

How long does this process take?

The bespoke process takes approximately 6 – 8 weeks.
